Buyer is  responsible import customs unless they were shipped DDP.  Seller is responsible for all export customs except  ExWorks.

if your term price term was FOB then you have to pay freight and custom duty

if your price term was C&F then buyer have to pay the custom duty

if your payment term was LDP then supplier will have to pay Duty.

now you know better , what was your price term? so fight accordingly
