No More Tricks, Mr. Nan Guo!
Post 1 of 19

In the Warring States period of China (475-221 B.C.), there was a state called Qi, the king of which was very fond of listening to the music played on the Yu, a wind instrument. So he convened a band of more than 300 players from his state. Everyday the band was called in to play the Yu for his Majesty at teatime. And the king seemed to be very satisfied with the band and the harmonies performed.

As a matter of fact, one of the players, Nan Guo, knew nothing about the instrument. But he did manage to pass himself off and went on well with his tricks that each time he tried to seat himself behind and pretended to be playing the Yu together with the others. And everything seemed good for him. He had never been exposed.

Finally, his days were gone when the prince ascended the throne. As the latter would enjoy solo rather than harmony, the players were called each in to play alone before the king. This time, as we have guessed, Nan Guo was embarrassed to find there was no place for him any more.

The story describes the case in which the spurious is mixed with the genuine.

Too many of Mr. Nan Guo come to Alibaba and mixed with good suppliers, cheating people that they are main factory even though they have no Idea what is the meaning of producing and think they never exposed.

What is your idea? How we can recognize these Mr. Nan Guo....?

Yes,Freddie, you're right, the story of Mr Nan Guo is very similar as the phenomena of net trade.Few people can discriminate it,including genuine buyers and sellers. [em7]But it doesn't matter, the survival of the fittest is right. And only truth and beauty can exist long.To be best ourselves is what we should do.Do you think so?

Freddie, tks for your kind help and wish you good luck! [em20]

International net trading has it's own advanatages and disadvantages. whether the factory is real or not, the buyer should confirm it before placing order so that you won't be deceived, this is what the purchaser should do. everybody can not gurantee every manufacturer is a manufacturer, the buyer should have the sharp eyes at this time.

I am sure most are factories but why would it matter that much as long as you can buy the products you want and make your profit? Unless of course you don't want to let the 'small guy' make a profit so that they can become a factory one day. Many of factories started off small , not everyone can just start big. If you are so concern about letting some middle people earn a small profit while they do some work for you to get the products that you otherwise would have to spend your own money to go get and ship, then why not just go and build your own factory yourself and make all the profits and have the headaches associated with it.
