Formalities to fulfill with exporting scrap metal to China?
Post 1 of 3
Hello,

I have a good source of scrap metal in Europe, for example waste cooper cable for recycling.

I would like to export them into China.

Guys, perhaps is there somebody, who can help me, what kind of formalities I need to fulfill in both Europe and China?

One of my Chinese Friends told me:
"You need to register in China Import and Export Commodity Inspection Bureau in order to export scrap metal to China"

How to understand that?

Each time you do export from Europe you use Companies like SGS to proove the quality before shipment?

Thanks a lot for any advice,

Martin

Hello once again,

Thanks for advice,

But... could you recomennd me some other company, helps to apply for AQSIQ?

I could not contact the company in Ningbo.

Some questions more:

1. Is it possible to go through that application alone, without help of Chinese consulting company? or that is time waste...

2. If I have clients from Hong Kong, I do need to have that certyficate?

Thank you,

martin
