We found one supplier in CACF fair in Guangzhou which is held near Canton fair, it mostly have Ceramics & General items suppliers, our supplier produce all kind of Toilet seats, Bidets & Washbasins, we placed order with them for 2x40hq container and paid deposit of Us$ 8000 on 9th of May, our first probles is they promised us 40 days shipment but they took almost 75 days to ship our first container and for 2nd container still not sure whether its ready or no ?? They asked us to pay balance payment for 1st container to get original documents and we paid, till today we didnt recived docuement, we keep calling this supplier but he is not reciving our call, its almost more then 100 days now but there is no news for 2nd container and docuements for first container !

In that case can anyone advise what shall we do ? Where do we lodge a complaint, is there anyway we can sue this supplier ? This is totally ridiculous way of doing business !!

On the first glance that I  know you just had big problems with this bad company.

I would like to ask as follows;

Did you check that factory before you pay your deposit?

Do you know the location of that factory or you just know nothing about them and paying upfront without any information about that factory.

I suggest you if this company is the gold supplier herer on Alibaba,please just try to call the Alibaba service.

If iit is not the gold supplier,you just got that bloody bad factory from the fair,it is difficult to find them out,as the best way is please just come here to report the local commercial office.

Hi Tony, Thanks for ur reply, yes we checked tht company is really big with there office in Foshan, today i called there Foshan office and his son pick up the phone, firstly he spoke to me and when I told him my name he hang up the phone, its really difficult to deal with ppl like that

Yes I knw the location of the factory bt I dont want to visit them without not knowing about the Law of China, I want to get all information like what I can do if they dont give my docuements and second container shipment, this company does not have any base on Alibaba, I got this factory from CACF fair, my second biggest problem is they cannot speak english, at Fair they hired some part time english speaking staff

I will check with out Lawyer to get advise, anyways thanks for ur concern

Firstly , I am very sorry to hear your bad experiences here .

Secondly , it is very unusual that it took more than 100 days to get shipping documents  ready .Generally speaking ,it will only take one week at most to get all the export documents.

Thirdly , it seems that you are purchasing from a small trading house , instead of big manufacturing factory . Even from the company name ,you could see that they are not real manufacturing factory .

Most urgently , I would like to suggest you to hire one lawyer to fight against them now . Donot pay any money to them now until you get the first container cargo .

In foreign trade business , seeing is believing . Sometimes , it is even more important than price that what kind of person you are doing . From your personal conversation with the factory owner , you could understand how the business will go further.
