In term of the fund allocation for Beijing Olympic is double the one in London.
Further with increasing of cost of materials by that time 3~ 4 years later, seem like London would be harder to achieve better than Beijing Olympic. TIme can tell !

beijing olympic slogan was "one world, same dream". They reportedly spent more than 40 billion dollars for the games. perhaps many times more money should have been needed if it had been in orther countries. many new stadiums, swimming pool, ..........
however the ceremony was very much like duplicate of prosaic dinner show in tourist hotels in resort places. It gave feeling that each performer in the show look more like a bolt and nut rather than they are human. And what that uniform they wore was. It reminds of the last culture revolutionary raw images in their '60s.
The londonbus gave feeling of safe and modernized culture image with its red color, same but totally different red !! Its short performance gave big fresh image.........
What's the dream they painted on the wall ? Whose dream is it actually . Does they know other's dream ?

China has just awaken for the past 10 years, it need a lot of advertising and PR, spending 40 billion is worth it to show the world what Chinese culture is all about and how develop China is.
London don't need that, they have awaken a few hundred years ago, they will not spend that kind of money so you'll never see such a grand Oylimpic in many years to come.
Congratulation to China for accomplishing such a magnificent and grand function that no country have ever done before....well done !!! I'm sure this will be a great platform and on eye opener to the world

China people would like to share their dream with the rest of the world, this is their dream, anything wrong ? One World, Same Dream, do not necessary mean this dream is the world people's dream, can I say 1.3 billions people dream is more than enough and wish to share with others ? It never mean to force you and anybody who do not wish to share ! What makes you so sure to think you are so great about China people insist to share dream with you? Let me tell you there are many South Koreans dream to win projects from China before the Beijing Olympic, and you seen those LED display boards some of them are from South Korea, there are so many Korean products sold in China for the past, China people know to respect Korean, and many other Koreans dream to sell more in China. But, I am sure China people exception to share dream with you.
What is wrong about the 60's culture revolutionary raw images, I do not understand what you actually mean, I had been twice visited Seoul, there are even more ancient cultures being preserve and display so as appeared during Seoul Olympic ceremony. Don't you bother about your past cultures ? Where are you come from ? I am very surprise, my experience Korean are polite, respect others and good in manner. I am doubt you are a Korean or maybe a Korean do not live in Korea.
