I am looking for a solution to ship euro palettes of diffrent kinds of goods (mostly underware, socks, golfballs, shirts) from china to switzerland (zürich). How can i get a trustable logistoc company whcih can handle this orders?

why do you want to ship the goods on palettes from china, this is covering and eating too much space and the handling costs too high. Why you not buy normal in export cartons packed in container and later on pack them at point of destination on palettes? Not to forget from China you will only get single use palette and you must then again rrepack anyway as customer in europe mostly do not accept single use palette. So do let them pack in export carton only and pack them on palettes at your place. Good Luck to you!

Your safest bet would be to contact some established freight forwarders or shipping 

companies in your city and speak to them about your plans. I would think a good freight

forwarder would probably be a better option than contacting a liner directly, since your

volume will be small initially.


Whatever your needs, you should discuss it with them. After you have got in some quotes,

ask your supplier(s) to quote you freight prepaid from their side and see where you stand

on your own rates. If the difference is not too big, then it would be useful to arrange it

thru your own forwarder - you are also building up a relationship with them that will stand

you in good stead for the future.
