I got many inquire from Nigerian, and they usually said that they need many products from me. after several days contacting.  they began to ask the Invitation-han. my manager and other friends said that were unauthentic. So I stoped contacting the Nigerian.

I don't know why, and who can help me to do it better, or how to reply to them

There is an extremely high percentage of scammers among Nigerians, but most of the times it's very easy to detect them. Their claims and offers are just way too silly to make sense. - Though in each and every case you should practice "Due Diligence", regardless of nationality, etc.

On the other hand, if you find an honest Nigerian trader and deal with him, you'll have a friend for life. The reason is that too many people are afraid of them (possible scam), and that makes their lives extremely difficult. If you help them out of this trouble, they are very appreciative, and that of course makes doing business much easier and pleasant.

I didn't find some useful messages from Nigerian, I am afraid to lose the friends,  and how to answer the email to them.

Quoting from [fechoo]: They are very professional in presentation if you have never experience with them , but once you have been scammed, you will never forget their tricks . I got scammed and he promised to give me  my money back instead he stated to me that it will take a few days and I will only get half of it . They are worthless people to do business with and not honest . They seem to have pride in what they are doing from generation to generation . Funny thing is that I'm a African American honest citizen . I work hard to give my customers good service with respect.

I AM A NIGERIAN AND VERY PROUD TO BE ONE. I'M A MEMBER OF ALIBABA LOOKING FOR GENUINE SUPPLIERS TOO.

AS MUCH AS WE HAVE SCAMMERS IN NIGERIA, THERE ARE ALSO SCAMMERS ALL AROUND THE WORLD EVEN ON THIS WEBSITE WHERE I READ ABOUT A CHINESE GOLD SUPPLIER WHO SCAMMED SOMEONE.

I DO NO THINK YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO CALL OVER 120 MILLION PEOPLE WORTHLESS, IT JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU DO NOT EVEN HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR YOURSELF.

IT MAY INTEREST YOU TO KNOW THAT WE HAVE VERY SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS MEN AND WOMEN IN NIGERIA WHO ARE NOT NIGERIANS AND THEY RESIDE IN NIGERIA.

I WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE NIGERIANS WHO ARE READY TO DO GOOD BUSINESS, THEY ARE GENUINE AND WORTHY.  I PRAY YOU COME ACCROSS THEM AND NOT THE VERY FEW WHO HAVE CHOOSEN THE WRONG PATH.

FIRST RULE:get a representative in Nigeria that is well known to you as a go between, or through the Nigerian-Chiniese chamber of commerce in Nigeria.

SECOND RULE: Ask the Nigerian to send a agent or relative living in China to do transaction   on his behalf  face to face in China.

THIRD RULE: Except if the Nigerian to well known to you, pls don't send him Goods without seeing your money first..

Pls note that there are  Honest and Trustworthy Nigerians as there are Chiniese, vice vercer.

Hello All,

I am a proud Nigerian irrespective of the impression some people have about us. I am a member of this portal searching for honest suppliers. However, it is unfortunate that some people have prided themselves as being the only honest people on earth.

It is also most absurd for anyone to classify a whole nation as worthless people. This is a most uncivilized and uncomplimentary remark expected of someone involved in international trade.

In any case, I am aware of dishonest people on this trade portal. These are verified members who scammed other people as reported on other trade topics. These are not Nigerians per se. They include those who believe there are no scammers from their countries.

There are scammers from Nigeria just the same way there are scammers from other nations. The scammers in Nigeria represent an insignificant few compared to the honest majority.

However, if you plan to do business with a Nigerian,

1. Carry out  a personal due diligence on the company much the same way you will, on another company from elsewhere (Gold, verified or not).

2. Get a known/trusted agent or your embassy staff to further check the validity of the company from the Corporate Affairs Commission.

3. Ensure that you both follow the basic rules of international trade and use of correct instruments which protect either of you.

4. Do not accept any requests outside your trade terms.

5. Be mindful of any outrageous promises or requests.

6. You may start with trial orders till you have both established trust.

Thanks

If you have not do bussines with Nigerian ,you are missing a lot because Nigerians have what it takes to do bussiness .though there are some dishonest bussinesmen but the real ones are numerous ,especially those from south eastern part of Nigeria .tThe easterners are pure bussines people.
