Defective products and bogus warantee.
Post 1 of 3
I've gotten stuck with numerous defective products from Guangzhou Radium Cosmetic Co.,LTD and one from Guangzhou JIMY Facial & Hair Beauty Product Co.

Radium shipped defective machines and promised to send replacement parts and an instructional video for a year. They never did, and now they won't even respond to my emails.

Guangzhou JIMY sold me a facial machine with a 220 volt cord but the machine was marked 110 volts. I contacted the company and they told me to buy a 110 volt cord, because "the machine was mismarked 220 volts". It OK you try.

It wasn't OK. The machine worked for about 15 seconds and then burned out. When I contacted the company again, they said that it was MY fault for following TO THE LETTER the instructions THEY emailed me. Finally, after MONTHS of arguing with them, and after I paid for shipping back and forth, the sent me this machine back, which had a huge ding in the side by now. A month later on half of the machine stopped working.

Both Radium and JIMY say that they have a "warantee", but when you contact them, they don't actually DO anything about the horrible quality of their products.

I'm now having this problem with yet another Chinese company.

This makes it three out of three Chinese companies that haven't kept their word regarding EITHER their quality or their warantees!

Is there any way to get Chinese companies to honor their warantees?

Feel sorry about your experience.

In fact,I learnt lots of suppliers could not keep their promise in aftersale service which is because they do not put enough attention on it.And if they do not keep their promise, you almost can do nothing to compensate your loss.

Buy from China, especially buy machinery products, you need a good representative in China to help you verify machine.I used to work in laser machine field, there are countless suppliers whom can assemble a machine, but just a small part of them can control their quality.A supplier verification is very important, which could made by you or your rep in China.

I suggest you 3 ways to avoid it:

1,Ask for a reference customer from supplier.

2,Find a 3rd party to verify factory and machine before shipment.

3,Keep in touch with their sales or engineer,a good relationship with them may help you.
