Hi all, I am looking to find us a new freight forwarder with the best rates out of either BWI or JFK. What sort of things should I consider or can anyone mention a good company? I guess I could give more details but I never know about rules here on trade leads or something. Basically, we need to get laptops to west africa mainly over 100-200+ kilos each shipment.

Thanks, that is somewhat helpful, but I still haven't found a good forwarder. That thread seems centered on China to wherever, but I got a few company names to try. Big ones like Expiditors can't really quote me yet and a lot want to come visit our office blah blah blah. I don't know if I can even find one to meet my boss' target of $4.5/kg we have with our current company but we are fed up with them because of bad turn around time. I guess you get what you pay for.


If anyone has tips for specifically to Africa or maybe even Latin America/Europe, as I want to try to expand business to there, it will be great.
