Your statement is factually incorrect and as such misleading.
The majority of suppliers in China are legitimate businesses that do legitimate business. This is why almost every product you see in shops around the world is Made in China. Do you really think that all of those buyers are getting scammed? Of course not.
Even if we look at alibaba you will find that the far majority of suppliers listed here are legitimate businesses looking to do legitimate business.
The problem is that some buyers come here looking to buy brand name products and consumer electronics often for prices that common sense dictates cannot possibly exist. These same buyers send cash to persons, not companies, without doing the correct safety checks. Then these same buyers complain about how everyone is a scammer!!!
Yes there are scammers here at alibaba just as there are everywhere - this is why it is your responsibility to check out sellers BEFORE you send them money. Gold Supplier and Trustpass status at alibaba does not mean that you can trust them blindly!
