I too have tried to find out an answer to your exact question too. I am also interested in purchasing a bike from Pt, Thiesbike and have several emails back and forth from them but cautious about going further. I'll keep a watch on the thread.

No manufacturer sell something to Indonesia cheaper, because they would not worry their wholesalers in other countries when their items could be reimported from Indonesia cheaper than they sell at home !!!


Who not believe this or deny it, may post and give a prove that I am wrong !


Buy furniture, plant oil, copra, charcoal and Batik in Indonesia thats the items you can buy cheap and with good quality if due diligence is used before !

There are a couple of real bike manufacturer here but none are listed on Alibaba.

China is the real manufacturing base for bikes, why not contact Chinese factories directly ?

I’m a employee tax officer in . In my country , every company have NPWP ( number of tax payment ) So, if you want to transaction /deal with company from , ask them about NPWP . I can check NPWP in my office, it can explaining the company is real or not.

I have check PT thiesbike in my office database, the company is not real / not exist.
