hi am from india , doing small business in mobile phones ,i like to import from china mobiles phone spares such as memory cards and mobile phone accessories , our estimate order value is minimum 50000 INR ,package weight is minimum 15Kg . if i import to india means what is the procedure ? is it possible to import with out IEC licence . please any body Guide me , step by step, am new for importing goods .

1. Get IEC Code First
2. Contact some suppliers from Alibaba
3.Contact some Freight Forwaders in your City, finalise all their charges and chk if he will arrange the clearance of your cargo
4. work out the landed cost
5.Get P/I
6. Verify the supplier
7. Send TT
8.Get the goods

I suggest that instead of getting into the hassles of importing directly, it would be worthwhile to get in touch with an existing local importer, that can serve your needs and requirement.
Direct imports for a new bee are not viable unless and until you have direct contacts/links and are willing to import container loads.
Some other factors are also involved, to release the imported goods.
