Importing Ni Cad sample batteries from china

We like to import sample Ni Cad batterie with charge from china to Tamilnadu in INDIA.As per the firm PI No:2008040901 dated 2008-04-09 the cost of the material is 3.364 USD Where as the freight charge is 58 USD. Kindly advice us how to reduce freight charges.with best regards

You could look into getting the samples on freight collect basis. Best would be to
check out a few good courier companies and compare their rates (if you need the
samples to reach you quickly). You can open a (free) account with one of them and use
that account to import your samples.
If not, you may consider getting the samples via regular parcel mail - but I'm unsure if
batteries can be sent via ordinary mail.
