As a supplier, to make a new samples, then there is a lot of new buyers wanna take them, the price of course will expensive than the unit price or we need to ask some deposit, for this issue, we hope you buyer can change the position to take about us in stead of, we don't want to earn any profit in the samples, but we need to spend time and cost to make the samples, if the order come, we surely will deduct off from the order amount, but how about there is no order, meanwhile, if we all offer free samples, then what things will comes up, the buyer will try to get as more as possible , finally, who pay for the samples in case of there is no order comes through, who make this fair? business is business, let's try to make all the deal farily and reasonable,

paying big dollars for express post on items that can only profit via shipping is a good indicator of "someone" who wants to see a sample.

If the sample cost is below usd 10 and we have spare in hand, we wil say that the sample cost free, courier cost is collected.

If the sample cost is above usd 10 , we will ask the client to pay the sample cost.

but almost all the client say that the transfer cost is need usd 30 per time,

i  want to know, what is the best way we can advise the client to pay for this small money .  which way to pay , they can save the transfer money?

the buyer should bear the sample charge if  the products is more expensive . our products is led lamp shade ,camera housing , and so on ,. most customeer satify  pay the charge if they want to do business with you .

So the bottom line is probably, "it all depends". There are always exceptions and special situations, but as a general guideline your suggestions are right on target.

    This a great topic.

    Some of my customers often ask me make samples, and express to them, but they paid transport charges, samples charges had to under our account. About 10-20% can bring orders.  I know that there are impossible for every sample can get big orders. So I have a common heart for that.

    If sample fee and express charges are all in sellers account, this is not fair. Because maybe every month seller have so many samples for customer, and then more charges, and not every sample can get orders, that is a big expense. So share for both is a good idea.

    Although that is a great idea, the charges buyer paid should deduct from big orders..The sample buyer get is also for free. But if it is just sample, buyer should pay part...

    That is my opinion..

    If the buyer can't afford the sample fee, how can he afford the order.
