because there are so many members using alibaba , and he may think your products are not so competitive.

i'm also the same this situation, but I think may be our product not meet customer standard or I haven't got persuasible idears, yet.

And also it is another reason can't eliminate : some of member wanna know more about price range here and gargain with his supplier now.

So I want to know when we should offer the price list and when we can't offer the price list of our product to them. Majority customer require the price list of all product in the first e-mail.
I am also in the same situation at first, and now, it is better.
I think you must be patient about this,it is a common phenomenon. Of course,tell them your price is inevitable,,all you can do maybe just keep down the base line.

But I think maybe there are one situation you never though.there are also many inveracious inquiry at alibaba.maybe that cusotmers are not real.this is my advice

I can give you several reasons why they might not answer:
The photos on website are too small/poor to see details.
All products all have the same name, so that customer cant do a serch on the site.
No pricing - lot of hazzel for the customer
I posted a buying lead and got 50 emails from manufacturer. Most of their websites are very confusing. NO details about the products AT ALL, or same text on all products. Some put in the same product 5 times, but with different calling name. Grouping the products is very usefull to the customers, but many companys seems not to care how they present their products. In my lead i ask for pricelist, becorse they have 1000 items i have to look throug, and it takes way to long time. (i did in the beginning)
Here is things that would make me answer right away: Promt answer, Good pictures of products, Good forfilling descriiption/presentation of every product, a website that is looking like you care about your products. The first email is very important to tell the customer everything that you your self would want to know if you are hunting for products. If i get a price right away, it saves a lot of time, i know imidiatly if it has any interest.
How many items customer has to buy minimum.
