China Women Weightlifting broke new world record

| Women weight lifter, Liu Chunhong broke new world record with 128 kg on the snatch and lift. Brought home another Gold for China on Aug 13. I was immensely awed by her strength and ability to carry on to the 69 kg load. She has the inspiration and the encouragement from her coach, and pays off her years of training for this one event that will change her life. China is racing neck to neck with the United States in the medal tally to be in the top spot, world number 1. Currently, China has the most Gold medals, but the total number of medals is less than the Americans by 2 to 3 medals. So, for the next numbers of days of the games, we wish the Chinese success in their bid to be No. 1 in the world of sports. Just as China has been world number 1 in many other achievements. Joyce |
