My buyer is cheating me ? what should i do ?

I usually get the same thing with buyers sometimes to that refuse to pay. I usually get into their head that "in this day and age nobody does something for nothing" if he is looking for freebies either ask him to send the sample back if he doesnt wish to pay and keep on getting onto him/her, eventually with enough persistance they either return the product, or they pay.

 

whether you do business again in the future with them is entirely up to them. but they will be aware that you arent one to cheat.

    I came aross a bad case like this before.

   I know one potential customer for a long time ,and he came to our office to see the samples too.But he would like us to make the sample as his request.We agree this,and told him our usual practice is asking sample charge if customer wants us make new sample,and we would give the sample charge back to him when he places us the order.He said it's no problem.

     While it took so many days for him to transfer us the sample charge,and since the Chinese spring festival is coming and i knew him for a very long time,what's more,i considered him a honest and reliable businessman.So before getting his sample charge,i asked my factory to make the sample,while the case was that he didn't transfer us the sample charge to us at all.

    Even though,i don't think this is a problem,since i think we have to give him the sample charge at last.What's worse,i sent him the samples by DHL ,but he didn't have DHL account,he promise to me he would pay the freight when he get the sample,i believed what he said.

    After i came back from my spring festival holiday,i was really crazy at this man!He refused to pay,he said the tracking number i gave him is wrong,but i didn't think this was problem,so long as the samples were right,and reached you safely,any thing else was not important.

    At last,we paid the freight more than usual,since the DHL came to his office several times,but he refused to pay.

   After paying the freight for him,i left him a message,i told him,it was him who taught me i should never believe people at random.You can imagine how angry i was at that time.And from then on,i haven't talked with him any longer.

    Nearly half a year past since the above unhappy experience,and right now i become mature,i don't believe people easily as before.If customer ask me to send him sample,i'll tell him,no problem,we can supply you sample free of charge,but you should pay the freight,if he tries to persuade us to pay the freight,i will never talk with him any more.I think a real buyer,and an serious businessman will not act like this.And if i still contact him,it's a waste of time,and will make me very bored.

     Right now,i sum up two tips when doing external business:

     1.If customer wants us to make new sample as his request,do not make when you receive the sample charge.

     2.Do not send customer samples if he doesn't give you his express account,if he doesn't have,you can ask him to transfer you the freight.

  • Next time if customer wants to use their own account. You just ask them to arrange with their courier companies like DHL, Fedex, UPS etc.. in their own country to come and collect from your company. They will usually have to pay for the shipping inadvance if their reputation issnt good or they are new customer of the courier company. When the courier company come and collect it in your office they will ask if you have any account with them just say "NO" so that when there will be no chargeback by the courier company at all :)

     yes. we should taking into consideration of risky.

    Try  to talking  with them and asking why ?

    we also have meets with some of the buyer like this.

    you should asking them to making the pick up of samples next time. even they are just give u the account no are no use. expecially for UPS OR FEDEX .TNT.

    you can searching the website there are  so many suppliers have been cheated by the buyer for the freight. so we should taking care of this next time.

    hei my man,take it easy, it happens always in Yiwu market. that's really not worthful to discuss, there are many suppliers get no good business,than makes them to accommodate the so-called potential customers for their require. Acturelly that's not the right way to do business, no businessman feels thankful about what you did for free in business,as a businessman, they know what they have to pay and they know what they have to buy. that is the reason many people in yiwu they were cheated. so,just keep your confidence and don't change your principle.

    as my personal thinking,I prefer to lose than to be cheated.
