My buyer is cheating me ? what should i do ?

last week , one of my clients is allowed me to post sample to him,while

he refused to paid UPS. In fact ,the client who have not cooperated with

us before. But i am not willing to disspointed client , i am afraid of his lie , either.


so it became more tough for us exporters . on one side , I want to get the order so i should meet our buyer's needs ,but on the other side, we should take the risk into our consideration.

    Take it as a joke! yeah, we are a salesman, but first we are exactly individual person. So its nothing losing a potential client, we can find another one. Come on!![em10]

    It's hard to belive that somebody supplie free sample, I buy from China since 2000 but everytime when I asked a sample I payed the sample price and also the freight fee.

     I think is hard for the buyers too , because for this kind of people, who need free samples, or low cost samples,  now the suppliers charge big amount for a sample, for example last week I have payed only the sample charge for a baby stroller 165$, and I payed also the freight fee, I was surprised when they asked so much money for a sample, but I accepted because I had to see the product first, is a big risk to order one HQ without seeing the product.

      It's hard for suppliers but is hard for honest buyers too.

    This problem always happens in international trade.  Please ask for his courier account and confirm pay collect before samples sending, if you dont have that very account, it will be no lose for you-- it is a way to protect yourself. 

    We all want to get  more business, but if you cannot protect yourself first, then how to fight?

    I suggest that you make a research about the buyer's credit first. If it is a big and famous company in your industry, and the freight is not too expensive and you are confident with your product, you can send the sample. Some big buyer are very haughty becasuse they are big buyers. So make the research and make your dicision.

    if the buyer is not willing to pay the ship charge then forget it and delete the name

    you can ask the client to pay for the courier charges , assuring him that you will reduce the courier charges if he places an order. I have paid several suppliers ( but the sample sent were good while as the actual products were bad). So be happy that your buyer has cheated you of just  about $50, I have been cheated by two companies in Linyi who have supplied bad quality boards and then said one word :SORRY"



      Dear Asheesh, i am really sorry to hear your bad experience in Linyi, frankly speaking, i am from Linyi. But i am sure most of the Linyinese are honest, hope all the companies you coperate with in Linyi in the future are honest.

    Pls dont despair of cooperation with companies in Linyi!

    Relation Business is How to do Mutual Benefit to Each other,  As Supplier must sent free sample for Buyer to learn and study yr product. becos this is capacity of supplier if you need step by step got order and running well

    WE ARE IN KEEP TOUCH WITH SOME COMPANIES OF , BUT DUE TO SOME OF THEIR CORRESPONDANCE WE ARE DAULTFUL ABOUT THEM EITHER THEY ARE GENUINE OR FRAUDE

    BECUSE ONE COMPANY IS ASKING FOR SENDING THEIR SOME DOCUMENTS AND VIDEO CD FROM CAMEROON TO PAKISTAN EMS CHARGES EURO 330/- AND I AM ASKING THEM TO SEND THIS PARCEL BY DHL OR FED EX IN MY ACCOUNT AND WE WILL PAY SHIPMENT CHARGES IN PAKISTAN AFTER RECEIVING THE PARCEL. I THINK PARCEL WAIT WILL BE 500 gm AND CHARGES MAY BE LESS THEN US$ 100/ - BUT SELLER INSIST I SEND EURO 330/- PLEASE ADVICE
