Sounds like it could be one of those scammers that offers big orders and invites sellers to visit China to sign contracts. On arrival the seller is then asked to buy expensive gifts for various people in the company to secure the contract. There is no contract however.

Obviously a large buyer would want to visit the seller not the other way around so if someone suggests to do things otherwise you best check things out carefully.

Dear Friends , Xi'an hengyun import and export trade co,.Ltd  This company also placed a sizeable order on me .. I was to leave for China next week for the same "contract" stuff .. luckily I checked on the status of the company and this is what I found .. In the last eight months all inquiries that I have received thru Alibaba have been Frauds ... Can someone tell me the process of delisting my company from this dreadful site .. I dont want my company to be amongst Fraudsters .. Thanks for all the friends here who posted this .. There are  new names on the " companys" "CON"  rolls now.. Please be aware .. VERY AWARE .. I thought all this was limited to Nigeria, Sudan, Ghana, Cameroon etc .. it is in CHINA also .. Wonder where will One find genuine Buyers ..

I have not yet gotten to the part where they have invited me to China but sure appreciate the "heads up" from everyone that took the time to post.

We are a small firm in Canada www.barrelenterprises.com and enjoy exporting to legitimate business anywhere in the world. This news is disturbing. I will follow up with my findings.

Many people have been contacted by them for rediculous large orders. These people make me sick!

 

We are a based 20 yrs established wholesale company. After two email exchanges these guys were ready to place a big order and immediately I got suspicious ... business has never been so smooth and easy, and when did ever import anything from the West??! So I searched arounfd and came to this web-site which confirmed my suspicions.Thought it would be helpful to share with all genuine companies. BEWARE - This is the latest email I got from the scammers "THE INVITE " :

After two mails, they wanted 400,000 peices. Who the * buys 400,000 shoppers , at one go.

Its annoying to waste time responding to such mails.... Please Alibaba, there should be strict screening of users.

I totally agree. Altho as long as Alibaba get their gold membership fees i doubt they will bother lifting a finger to stop their gold member scammers. Glad you guys didnt waste a plane journey over to China for these morons!
