Hi,
we have just had confirmation that our fist samples are ready from a factory in China. However, they have just told us that they can not arrange for the samples to be sent to us, we need to do it through DHL or FEDEX.
When we have contacted them they have told us that they can not collect from China as a first instruction!
Can you advise us of a service that we could use to get the samples over to us in the UK from China and then possibly again for the further order?

Normally you must make up an account with a express company eg TNT, then you will have an international customer number, you can indicate this number to your supplier and they can send by freight collect:
Ask your supplier if you give them account no. at express comoany eg TNT if they agree then to send out on freight collect basis, but I am sure they will. If so then you have to contact eg TNT in UK and tell them that you regulary import from China, then you will have to fulfill special form and get a number.
Having this number your supplier can send out without paying "freight collect" later on you will receive after delievery a letter from the express company confirming to take over the costs and then you get the invoice. Be careful with the account numnber gibe it only to your potential suppliers. Good Luck!

1.free sample+free shipping
2.free sample+pays shipping
3.paid sample+free shipping
4.paid sample+buyer pays shipping
