The Chinese Comapny Owed me 7000$ but Refuse to Return
Post 1 of 109

Dear all, I need your help and I really don't know what to do and do not want to go to the court on this stage.

I came across an interesting situation:

I arranged a dilivery (I don't say that chinese manager always was confusing details, forgot the number of contract and wrote another number in invoice and certificate of origin, so due to his "professionalism" I've been waiting for delivery for 3 weeks) ).

Ok, no problem) Then on custom there was a removal of 6 bags, because of its unsuit conditions for reload. The matter is that I've already payed all the sum but becasue of this removal the chineese comapny owe me 7000$ which it refuse to return, telling the lamest excuses I ever heard.

The question is: Is there any authority in China where can I complain on its careless actions. Like Trade Organization or smth. like that. If you can help, write pls. its contacts.
Thank you in advance.

I came a crross a similar situation my self but when i contacted the embassy here in UK, They did nothing apart from give me a telephone number in china for the police to call. Embassies are neither helpful. In my case i lost my money though it was not as much as yours. In my case the guys simply denied to ship the goods after they had received they money.

Go to court if no other solution is available. However keep contacting the company. If the company is VERIFED then alibaba should get involved. If a company is VERIFIED it means it should able to stand up to reality if not the verifier should be held responsible. Alibaba has alocated a third party body to verify businesses which means sellers has to pay them money. I think alibaba should get involved even though they will be running away.

Sorry to hear that. Don't let it go

People before you post or reply read carefully what he posted. I just highlighted ;
  • he arranged the delivery
  • assume that he must know the situation before loading
  • and the custom removal happened in his territory(Russian custom)

whose fault is it? not to mention that those bags were to be returned to the supplier

he is just saying that seller owe him because he didn't get the products. Did not mean the seller did not send nor did not produce the goods.

Here is my question

Under his delivery arrangement, 6 bags out of total order were remove by destination/discharge port custom, saying seller owe him $7000,

whose responsibility is it?

I am not covering those chinese supplier, but you need to learn you lesson instead of blaming other.

geez... 6bags wroth $7000 and did not take extra precaution on the packing and own custom regulation and blaming other?
