In my opinion, I think a seller just wants to sell the products. Maybe they are talktive, but they are not always a marketer. However, a marketer must be a perfect seller.
First of all,a marketer is extravert with great expression, excellent communicatin and outstanding social ability.
Second, a marketer would not be frustrated by refusal every now and again.
Third, a marketer takes every workable methods to influence on others at customers' interest and advantage so that they would make purchase spontaneously.
More important, a marketer know what is the potential need of the customers and then offer suggestion for their benifit. A marketer sets goal for themselves and take action for their challenge.![]()
many scholars across the globe have agued on the basic distinctions between sales and marketing. its vital though to realise that the two are closely related and will always complement each other in the business cycles.
Marketing is an art of identifying the needs of either a prospective customer or an existing one, stimulate the needs torwards your product and endevour to satisfy them using the most effective and efficient approaches for retantions purposes.
while as Sales is an art of persuasion which looks at making a customer part away with his/her money to pay for that product. it can be looked at as an art of educating prospects and existing customers about the product on offer and ensure that the correct information is given out to the customer about the subject product. sales in this case could be said to be a vehicle thruogh which marketing gets the product down for final use, at a profit.
