Salles: waiting for the necessity.

Although very closely related selling is a byproduct of marketing. Which came first ? Marketing wherein a product is widely advertized to get the attention of millions of potential buyers always preceed sales. Sales which envelopes the collective sum total of individual customers who actually buy a product. I am a much better marketer than seller.

In it's simplist form,

a marketer is:

  • a person with creative ideas who will  get the customer into your store
a seller is:
  • a person who can accept rejection, tranlate features and benefits of the product to the customer and close the sale.

NOTE: TWO VERY DIFFERENT SKILL SETS REQUIRED

in my idea, marketing include supply and demand, while selling only involves the former.
