This is more to Alibaba staff that memebrs but still good for both. I want to hear comments and ideas.

A post by a member in due diligence the forums:
http://resources.alibaba.com/topic/30443/The_longest_list_of_scammers_I_ve_ever_seen__.htm

That list came from ebay staff as he stated. I didnt read much of the list.

What I would like to suggest is maybe some communication regarding internet frauds, between major e-commerce providers like Ebay, Alibaba, Amazon. Im not sure what else to list here (or even if amazon belongs there maybe other B2Bs). But together to make united efforts in fighting scams. Instead of indirect contact like that post, a direct contact between staff in all these websites.

Thoughts?

Re: Suggestion
It would be nice to see that kind of cooperation of course, but one has to keep in mind that they are competing companies.

What I think would be interesting is to have a third party that collects complaints and feedback on companies and suspicious websites, and then provides this to relevant B2B or auction sites. They can filter out those who seem too suspicious, or provide links to the third party for visitors to see what has been said about a certain company and let them make up their own minds. I can think of a few reasons why that might be complicated though.

Anyway, if you want any Alibaba staff to see this, I'd better move it to the Talk With Alibaba forum.
