If it is illegal to deal in "fakes" why does ALIBABA allow the "fake" makers on this site?

Counterfeit/Copy sellers are not dumb !

If you have a real look and check the offers on Alibaba, you see that mostly only pictures are offered !
Complete offers with brandnames you find on provided websites !

How should Alibaba check all this ads ?

As a Importer it is your reliability to know, what is possible and what not, you will Import to your country !

A old rule in business law :
Ignorance do not prevent against punishment !

Replying to [wilhelm]:Well.........if Alibaba is th provider for this website shouldnt they set a standard. If many people here walked into scams everyday dont you think ALIBABA would be able to weed out some of the trash!

I would assume they do to some extent, search for "gucci" for example, you will only find the occasional ad that someone missed removing. Wilhelm usually points out that Alibaba is like a newspaper, they only provide the contacts, it's up to you to research them until you're comfortable dealing with them.
