I think.....beofore to discuss your customer,you should:
One side,I think you could settle down the benefits a little of yours .It is very difficulty to purchase products from China at this period.Maybe it will be better after Olympic game.
Other side,try to discuss with your supplier from China,I think they also could cut down the benefits in order to overcome this difficult situation...........

I'm sorry to hear that.
My suggestion is taking your phone up and call the boss or someone who has right to make decision in their company and make it clear what have happened. Supposing they are not satisfied with your offer(price, quality, service, etc.), you can ask them what's their target, and compare with your own. "Can we meet their requirements?" If the answer is "yes" then there's a big chance for you to regain your customer, just more negotiation; well, if your answer is "no"..why not take this chance to seek more clients? It is a big problem if you rely on one customer, no matter how big the customer is.
