we've been in the cooperation for years and today my clients informed me of taking another factories' products for purchase!!

And I am temporarily working for a china business company on a order.

as is known , china has suffered the price rising of the raw materials and ....


we have to offer higher price to protect our profit , and the buyer agreed 5 days ago!!!


today they emailed me this :

We will go else where to purchase the product .Thank you for your time and effort good luck in the future!

i'm sorry to here that. but  take it easy  and don't think so much. as you know their will offen happen in our business.

try to know why your custome stop order with you, and try to slove. it .

try to find out other customer , don't only depend on one customer .

to be frankly , i also met a bad news today and loose a big order . i feel very sad . but i know i must be stonge . because nobody can help you , just depend on yourself.

don't worry so much , tomorrow will better

Sorry to hear that , firstly you should telepho him  , why cancel the order?  then analysis the thing,  lastly find the way to deal with it . bcs we don't know  the reason of the canceling the order,  so you should find the reason firstly.

Maybe this is Business. Customers choose Who serve them better. Including Price,Quality,Service....   Hope you will find the exact reason and get bigger order soon.

You could go with an "Open Costs" to your client and show them that you are not increasing your prices to get more profits but because of the INCREASE IN THE COST OF YOUR SUPPLIES.

Calm down and then try to find the reason. I think you need to negotiate with your customer (the boss). Have you signed  sales contract ? If so , it should be helpful for you



Contact the boss for confirmation and then decide how you should do next.

normally things happen for a reason and if you can't find the reason then you are lost forever.

and in your case the only is to fly over and meet with the right people.at least you guys can reach a compromise. in times like this it always help to meet face to face

I always ask my customers to sign and return the sales contract once the order is confirmed. And also ask for deposit especially when the order is big. Not many factories in China are willing to stock so much material. I barely ask factory to start anything before the deposit received. But there are many close customers always use the "long term business relationship" to skip the deposit part. If the amount is not big, I can live with it. But when the amount is big, bare in mind that deposit is a must.

Now like most other responders say you are suggested to talk to your customer again to find out the reason for cancelling. If it is because of price, you are suggested to negotiate with both parties (factory & customer). But if that is the reason for the quality, I suggest you to look for another customer. As I don't think factory can improve the quality but not further increase the price. And I hope your factory hasn't started to do anything yet. A big GOOD LUCK to you.

Yes, i agree wit this opinion. Hope you will able to overcome this terrible situation and learn a lesson from it.

Don`t think it is everything for you. Even you lost the so called everything, try to start from the beggining and this is called life.
