Buyers are like flies, flying from here to there.
Thay are not too interested in long term relations but argue that a new comer would give them better price and service - which in fact is always the case because they have nothing to loose and offer there best price based on an extra client.
after a few orders the buyer will try there luck somewhere else.
The questin now is to accept it or fight it. Surely you must try to regain the buyer by offering at least the same conditions as the new comer.
The point is often that the buyer already has made it´s move to a new supplier and often there is not much you can do. In any case do not get histerical and keep your emotions.
Try to offer the buyer a test period in which he gives both companies a portion of the orders, after some time he can decide which one is best.

But I think that now all of the world are competitive markets and if you want to exist, you have to improve yourself .
Try on rising your service quality and reducing the profit. Maybe you will succeed.

You know, sensitive period, most of changed not under our control.
What we have do is find loyal buyer even if we are more loyal then them.
But in another way, who is willing pay more money for their goods? We are the same. When you find new supplier with lower offer than what you did, why not buy from their?

Try to communicate with them, and make yourself cleared why they don't work with you again, for the price? Ok, maybe you can reduce some of your profit. If your price is really can't reduce any more, ok, leave it away. always, there are some other suppliers offer the cheaper price than you.
