Calm down and then try to find the reason. I think you need to negotiate with your customer (the boss). Have you signed sales contract ? If so , it should be helpful for you

Sorry to hear that,but I have experience that before,I worked as a buyer before,and then negotiate the details with supplier,when we finally agree on the contract,we received the e-mail from the client,they should concel the order,I have spent so much time on that,they only sent an e-mail to concel that,I'm crazy .But I finally discuss with them,and persuade them to execute the order,cause I have kept all the daily E-mail discuss with the client,and won their respect,so I hope you can negotiate with your client.

I am sorry to hear that.
The first thing came into my mind in a flash is did your customer find another supplier with lower price?
Maybe you should ask he what's wrong and try to find out the price of other factories.

I always ask my customers to sign and return the sales contract once the order is confirmed. And also ask for deposit especially when the order is big. Not many factories in China are willing to stock so much material. I barely ask factory to start anything before the deposit received. But there are many close customers always use the "long term business relationship" to skip the deposit part. If the amount is not big, I can live with it. But when the amount is big, bare in mind that deposit is a must.
Now like most other responders say you are suggested to talk to your customer again to find out the reason for cancelling. If it is because of price, you are suggested to negotiate with both parties (factory & customer). But if that is the reason for the quality, I suggest you to look for another customer. As I don't think factory can improve the quality but not further increase the price. And I hope your factory hasn't started to do anything yet. A big GOOD LUCK to you.
