Quoting from [montana007lad]:

For small purchases inside the UK yes Paypal is an option for you. If you are talking large qty's then generally No Paypal will not be an option for you, for many reasons.

Replying to [montana007lad]:Well Paypal is not preferable as the security for buyer money is not available. Hence the other payment options are more advisable.

How do you describe the business??
If you mean, you buy one computer and you need to pay 500$. You use paypal for that, it is very good and safe??

But If you want to do business with some sellers in other country and you need to pay for the products which you are intending to import from them, then the best way is involve your bank and sellers bank in this transaction.. until you are satisfied that you will send 10000$ first to the seller and you will really receive the goods.. paypal or western union are no use... they are only for sending the money.. not for business....

Hi
You will find some suppliers in China that use the pay pal for samples, i have used many times in the past to buy and my account is in UK, i had samples sent to me while i was in China.
But you need to check who the pay pal account is, the supplier or the sales person?, and communicate to the manger in the factory what you want to do, i am sure you know why i ask this, [em19]
Also check that they can take USD as many use personal pay pal accounts and these can only take RMB within China. [em17]

Hi We accept USD as well as SGD via Paypal as a form of credit card collection.

However be aware that you might get a 'chargeback' from Paypal if the buyer 'lodge a report' or Paypal suspect the funds.

We do have few encounter that someone signed up with our services and used Paypal for payment, we rendered the services, but the buyer lodged a report for request of refund, even though we tried to email Paypal about the serviced had been rendered, we still have our funds been refunded.

Right now we have over 1K SGD been suspended due to fraud . [em8]
