I'm very happy today as we just received a Thank-you Letter from our customer in Australia this morning.

I am that person from Australia, and I cannot thank Justin and his team enough for getting my $25,000 back.  We can certify that Justin Yuan and his team has got back our money from a supplier in Wuhan, China.  They are really great !!!  Anyone is free to contact me for their reference in Australia!!!

My husband and I really thought we had seen the last of the money, and although I tried on average once a week to get the company to return our money, i was never able to get any response from them. They mostly just ignored my emails and when i tried to telephone they would just hang up.

One day I came accross Justins postings on Alibaba and seen where he was giving advise to people about doing business in China. I then seen where he had gone into business for himself, i wondered if there was any way he could get our money back for us and I contacted him.

My husband was very sceptical about spending any more money on this but I convinced him it was worth trying, and Justins small fee ended up being the best thing we could of done. HE SUCCEEDED  and got our money back , we could hardly believe it.

Justin kept me informed on a daily basis what steps he was taking to get our money back, and I must say he acted with the utmost proffesionalism, I was impressed and I  would not hesitate in reccomending his services to any one doing business in China.

I would just like to say to Justin and his staff a VERY BIG THANK YOU...just as well i am in Australia and you are in China or it would have been a VERY BIG HUG.[em19]

Hi, I'm a small Australian stay-at-home mum trying to launch my own business. I recently had business dealings with a company in China who have ripped me off. I didn't have much to loose, only $400.00 USD however, as a small business starting out and the ecomomic markets, it was still a bit of a punch in the guts. What do you suggest I do? Do you have any suggestions?

I was ripped off by a company called Shenzhen Dony Technology. They were a gold supplier on alibaba.com. They have a website http://www.szdth.com/. STAY AWAY!!! They are scam artists. What really pisses me off is to become a gold supplier on Alibaba, Alibaba is suppose to visit the companies and verify them for you. However, I do not believe they do this. I even tried reporting the company to Alibaba so that other people would not get ripped off and Alibaba did nothing!!

Basic Tips for doing business in China
1.Do not forget to check out their Business License and Export License with local officials before payment in China! You can also have to ask them for their full company name in Chinese sometimes.
2. Do not forget to audit and inspect them in person if your order is large enough.
3. Do not forget to sign a formal Purchase or Sale Contract if your order is large enough. Please have a look at this article to learn more regarding Checking a formal contract in China:
http://blog.myspace.cn/1300356232/archive/2008/01/20/400254626.aspx
4. Do not forget to conduct a Pre-shipment Inspection or During-production QC Inspection if your order is large enough in China.
5. Do not forget to ask your supplier directly for their ID information if your supplier is an individual in China, esp. when you buy from them online (but sometimes you will get a fake ID number).
6. Do not forget to ask your supplier directly for their foreign references if your order is large enough in China

Dear Mr YulinYuan ,

Your information is very helpful, we need to verify the facticity of a seal/company chop/legal person/company registor in Shenzhen. Can we asking by any CHINA GOVERNMENT WEB SITE or do you have any address can provide to us for personal checking?

Many thanks with best regards

Luican

Our company was scammed for $126,000. They played the same game. Don't not pay and ask the money back. They won't ship to you the goods. We reported in local policy station. They have transfered the money to overseas. and it is totally our fault

to trust them, and we had pressure from our customer. Be ware of it, you have a risk to get even the 50% deposit back.

China Inflatable Company in Wuhan  Witholding B/L Help scam, scammers

We are dealing with an inflatable company, at this stage I don't want to expose them in the fear of reprisals.

We ordered one 40 ft container of inflatable boats from a company in china.

The price was agreed, quantity etc... and then they decided once they received the 50% deposit ($35,000) that they would up the price or they would not supply us. We ask for a refund and they said they would have to sell stock before they paid.

We agreed to the increase and then they said they can only supply a 20 ft, so again we agreed. The 20t has been sent (Paid in full) and now they won't release the documents unless we agree to take the second part of the order and pay 50% in advance and are withholding the B/L until we do so.

Has anyone had such a experience, or does anyone have any advise or help for us ?

I see alot of people here getting scammed for a few $$ this is a big amount to get screwed by so you can imagine how I feel right now !

[em4] I feel  shamed as a chinese yong man,why these people do that?is that the game played?i hate people who're not honest.can we improve all?

[em19] I suggest that we just don't do business with these chinese muther****ers. I've lost money also. I ordered from 3 different suppliers hoping that I'd minimize my risk and the first order sent me was some ugly a** shoes instead of the laptop I ordered. I should have known it was a scam when he didn't know when the product model came out. I haven't recieved the order from the second supplier yet, but I highly doubt it's legit because I asked him to send it to me via UPS and he chose EMS. Now he won't even return my emails and I haven't even received the products yet. The got lucky with the 3rd supplier because after much consideration and seeing where all this is headed, I was able to cancel my money gram payment because it wasn't picked up yet. Over all I lost almost $800.

I think that platforms like "Alibaba", "Trade Key", "DH Gate", "B2B Trade Holding" should have a feedback type of system like ebay. This way buyers can make a better buying decision. The "trade platforms" are a gold mine for scammers and these scammers are a gold mine for the "trade platforms" so I don't see my suggestion happening any time soon.

Be careful out there! It's a cruel world (especially with the Chinese).
