Hello. I have  be on alibaba for more than four months. However, I have not got any a order. Every day I send price list to the ones who inquirying in the alibaba. And seldom, receive a reply from them.

And, a customer and I final agree on the price after some days negotiation, but the customer did not give me the order. and though, I email him may times, I got no reply. I am very puzzled. Who can tell me why it is so?

Alibaba is getting a very bad reputation as a place where most companies are out to scam potential buyers. Buyers are becoming very aware of the scams going on and are reluctant to place an order.

 

Yes, that is true. My first deal through Alibaba I was ripped off for $1198usd. But, I would like to say in Alibaba's defense, they were right on it when I filed a Trade Dispute. The company was removed from this site. Very expensive lesson, but I learned a lot from that first experience. Everyone, be careful, don't be in a hurry, ask company many questions, ask for pictures, don't T/T first time. And, good luck.

 GOOD CUSTOMERS DON'T DEPEND ON B2B  BIZ. THEY PREFER THEIR OLD SUPPLIERS.

Maybe there are some mistakes in your letters. Maybe you should know  the client's requirements clearly before send the price list to them.

If you got no reply from them, you should call them and ask the reasons.

As personal opinion,IT is stupid to send customer pricelist for first emails.As they just compare the prices and if your price not competitive.No one will reply.You should gaze at other obstacle first.

IN MY OPINION, THERE EXIST VARIOUS REASONS. THE BUYERS DO NOT BELEVE US IS THE MAIN REASON, NEXT THE YOUR SERVICE ATTITUDE MAY BE NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR BUYERS AND THEY DO NOT GET THE RESULTS WHAT THEY REALLY WANT. HOWEVER, PERSERVED AND CONTIUNED TO IMPROVE OURSELVES IS SIGNIFICANT.

Please don't worry. You should give more time to your clients. Many clients are not confident in doing business with the first supplier. Many clients prefer to cooperating with their natural supplier, maybe his or her inquiry is just an unconfirmed offer. He or she just wants to know the price difference between your company and his or her natural supplier. So please don't worry, you should not give up.  Every foreign trader will meet that situation. Maybe you will get a big order in the near future. Good luck.

I doubt those buyer leads are genuine.  I have the same situaion as you.  I responsed those buyer leads straight after they were posted but I did not get any response at all.  I talked about this with the bosses of my factory.  They told me they only got 2 orders for almost 2 years so they've already given up answering those buyer leads.  I think we may have to look for other ways to find a buyer.
