All Asian countries should fair better in the Beijing Olympics. Much has to do with the environment, the language of communication to the grass-root level.
The Singapore team can blend with the local Chinese in Beijing without interpreter, or go out to the stores or the roadside stalls for a local kebabs without much difficulty, taking taxis, and reading the road signs, talking to the people.
Much the same with the Koreans and Japanese, they have good adaptablilty to the language and culture.
Wish the Beijing Olympics all the best to the success of the Games.

China is a country with a time-honored civilization and a land of ceremony and decorum. Whenever guests visit, it is necessary to make and serve tea to them. Before serving tea, you may ask them for their preferences as to what kind of tea they fancy and serve them the tea in the most appropriate teacups.
