I had big problem with my american bank with these T.T. payments. first the lady transcribed the numbers out of sequence which took me a few weeks before i realized it and corrected and re-sent it, it still would not go through so i recalled it and just today re-sent with a largher order. any one had problem like this , please inform me and advise.thanks, martin

Goldstar was NOT calling you a liar in any way. geeze.. What he is saying is that the standard method is for you to give the info to the bank. they enter it .. then they should ask you to confirm the info...

That is how they cover their *....... YOU made the final approval to send it... That is how every bank I know does it... they ALWAYS should have you double check the info ........ besides.. you should always be paranoid about TT's ....... I usually check it twice..... top to bottom and bottom to top

it very pity the * bank teller filled out T.T. form and I did not know I was supposed because it was my first time. She off course put in wrong number and i never caught on till told by my company in guangzhou, but even after after corrected did not go through untill I recalled it and re-sent. it cost me a lot of business that bank teller .now I know of course.

In my mind if you can prove the bank made the error (ie. the tellers mistake) then I would be parked on that branches doorstep and bitchin up a storm getting satisfaction. If you can prove they made the error then why not go after them? Contact your banks ombudsman and place a complaint if thats what it takes to get something done. bans are run by people.

People make mistakes but if that bank makes an error that f$% me around you can bet I will go after them with a vengence since they have a few billion $ more than myself. A squeaky wheel gets greased.
