getting commission from other country exporters
Post 1 of 30
dear sir,

we are a trading agency of minerals in INDIA. we are now dealing with iron ore fines and coal.

our question is - say for example we have signed an FPA agreement with the seller to protect our commission.

what we can do when the seller becomes direct with the buyer and makes a false understanding and both tells me that they have cancelled the order.

thereafter they without informing me start doing business in between them directly.

IN THIS CASE WE ARE UNWARE OF THE DEVLOPMENTS AND MAY LOSE OUR COMMISSION.

CAN ANYBODY ANSWEAR IT ?

Dear sir,

Very useful information.

i also do have same problem. i am running a trading company. One buyer approached me for HDPE , as he is getting it per tonne rates around 2800 usd...... i told him..i whould provide you more reasonable rates from my supplier. I quoted him 2450 that includes my commission also. one thing, i am newly into these business and this is first time i am working as a mediator. how to safe guard my self. should i take my supplier in full faith.

Please register your FPA agreement in ICC. once L/c will be active then you will get your share as per your agreement.
