Could i take the money back ?

hello
i deal with a chinese company (and that was definitly the last time). that company tell me since almost 2 weeks any storys about shippment. it is still not shipped. i want my money back now. she girl told me i will get just 700 instead of 1400 dollar back because they hade work already. i told her no product no money. it is already paied in full.
can they take the half of the money ?
another company - i will send guy's to there to get my money back.
that was definitly the last time i bought even a yuimmgum from china. that is just hassle and just rusisch roulete. nothing more and less.
do exist in china a company which handle trades for non chinese people - like a midman?

to be honest - i was so in rush to get that goods that we havent discussed. if nothing agreed then counting standard terms.

Excuse me : have you and that company signed the contract?
It seems that that company did not make efficient delivery! And they could not realize their responsibility! Have they considered theri reputation?

HelloI have done trade with many Chinese company and so far I have not been "Ripped Off", there are ways of limiting the risk you take, the first and easieast one is to check to see if the web site is included in the "The bigger list of chinese scams" if it is then DO NOT do business with them, the second is obviously the payment method, if they will only accept a Western Union payment then it is very risky and remember that just because a supplier accepts Paypal does not mean your purchase is risk free, Paypal will not always support your claim if you get sent a fake item instead of the real thing, what were the names of the companies that de-frauded you as they should be reported to Internet Crime Complaint Center (),? I have often thought about the idea you mention of a "middle man" company but as I am in the UK I could not set one up in China, all I can provide at present is a service to deal with the companies I have already dealt with without any financial loss.),? Check with the company that you paid through to see if thay can help.
Never pay by Western Union. Pay through your credit card so they can help you if this ever happen again.
