As I know,the Buyer-market means that the goods supplied by seller is more than the buyer need,so the buyers can have a large range to make a choice,they can buy the goods at a very low price;the Seller-Market means that the goods seller selling is very fashional,and the demand of buyer is larger than supply,so the seller can sell their goods in a ideal price.

it is one word:seller-market:the situation is good for seller,who can sell goods at high price.On contrary,buyer-market:the situation is good for buyer,who have more chance to choose more goods at lower price.

Taking the water melon market for example .In winter ,there are few sellers .The fruit is scarce .But more people want to buy it .The seller has more flexibility to decide the price to gain a good profit.The buyer has little choice .This is a seller -market.
With the time going ,more water melons go into market .And people who don't sell it before think there is still great profit .So more and more sellers appear .Fierce competition is beginning ,Because there are so many sellers,the buyer has more choices to decide which they like .This is a buyer-market.
The seller-market and the buyer market is interchanging .
That's my opinion ,if anything is uncorrect ,please point to me .Thanks
When there are many more sellers and much more product than demand then the market is termed a "Buyers" market. Too much supply generally prices fall and suppliers go bust.
A "Sellers market"
When there is excessive demand for a limited amount of products or services then it is a "Sellers" market and prices generally go up and customers go without product or services.
At the moment it is a sellers market for commodities such as copper, iron, wheat, corn and rice. But we have a buyers market for electronic goods, advertising and motor cars as no one wants to buy them when they might lose their jobs.
It is a sellers market for shares in oil companies but a buyers market for hares in the banking sector.
