I went to China in 22 JULY to pick up HTC Diamond order. At that time i can't contact any body and no one call me. I went there for free.

I contact more than 5 suppliers to make sure that there is no problem. But again Chinese always cheater.

This is the list of cheat suppliers that i contact:

-Hefei City Yanhuang

-Nanjing yunmin trade

-Shenzhen Shidaiyinxiang

-Xiamen international

-Guangzhou Jiyue

All of these are Gold Supplier in Alibaba but All 's Cheater......

Why Alibaba not check it?

Hope all of you be careful and good luck. Don't be fooled like me

Do thest guys will be responsibility for what he said?

How can you prove thest are cheaters ???

If you can't prove what you said 100%, pls don't put this on a public space and then you will be responsibility for it maybe!!

We have HTC items in stock as well as other brands.  Visit our website at www.nohlogistics.com for all the items we carry.

With regards to the posters in this thread, it sounds like you guys are very inexperienced.  No offense, but experienced traders know that you cannot get branded items out of China.  Yes many are manufactured there, but like one of the posters said they cannot be distributed legally from the factories there.

If you are trying to source stuff from China, it tells me that you are trying to buy phones at like $300 and resell them for $600 or some massive profit margin.  Thats not how it works in this business.  Profit margins are small but constant, and volume is king in the phone business.

For example, the HTC Diamond generally wholesales around the high 500s to low 600s depending on quantity even though it retails for only around $650ish or so.  Now some of you may think well thats only $50 or so on a $600 investment (<10% margin).  Well thats the nature of the business.  ACCEPT THIS TO BE FACT.  QUALITY PHONES ARE EXPENSIVE, AND NO YOU CANNOT GET THEM FOR CHEAP.

Think about it this way, if there was a phone that sold for $650 all day long, WOULD SOMEONE SELL THERE SUPPLY OF IT TO YOU FOR $400?????  OF COURSE NOT.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, its just people need to be slapped in the face sometimes when it comes to the mobile phone biz.  Anyway if you guys are looking for a legit supplier we can help you out.  If you are chasing 50% margins get out of this business before you western union all your money away to scammers.

Thanks for the wake up call. I for one am one of those ignorant newbies that needed to hear this. Many may many thanks :-)

This of course leads me to wonder if this web site has any real value at all then! I am wanting to set up a modest Import business here in Australia (E.g. start small and learn the ropes - slowly ramp up as I become more experienced) and I WAS looking here as a start. I know there are others (madeinchina.com, chinaconnection.com, etc.).

Have you any experience with Chinese Photo Voltaic  Panels or Grid Connect Systems? I was hoping to get into this area.

Regards in advance

Sorry if I sounded harsh in the email, its just we get so many emails each day from people that have no idea what they are doing.  I want to sound blunt because I am just trying to do my part in bankrupting the scammers (though there seems to be a sucker born every minute)!!!

I think the problem for legit sellers is that we are competing with prices posted by scammers.  Of course we can't come near what a scammer is offering you, because we actually have the products!!!

For example we get many conversations that go like this...

Buyer:  How much for your HTC Diamond phones

Us:  Prices on these start at $605 then goes down depending on quantity purchased.

Buyer: Wow your price is so high!  I can't make any money at those prices!  Some guy in China offered me $300/pc for these phones, how come you are charging so high?

Us: WELL BUY FROM THEM AND SEE WHAT YOU GET IN THE MAIL!!!!!  (jk, we are actually a little nicer)

But yeah Alibaba (tradekey is another) is a place where newbies hang out because these are the biggest trade sites, however I really doubt much business gets done there (well with regards to mobile phones).

Oh with regards to the stuff you were asking about, we only deal in mobile phones at this time.  Sorry.

But yea if anyone has any questions please let me know!  People need to know the reality before they Western Union all their money away!!!

Yes, thank you for that. We all know there are cheaters all around the world. What we do not know is why so many of Chinese people are willing to destroy the trust between suppliers and buyers by cheating?

ps.I am newbis too! I also bought phones from China and had a real bad experience.

Yet another mobile phone scam. I ordered 2 x Htc Touch Diamonds and received 2 x fakes devices. They said it was a problem with DHL and that they would make a claim.

Sounded VERY dubious. Of course, being a newbie to this, I swallowed it hook line and sinker.

Obviously, nothing happened. I have their bank details so will be writing to their bank and notify them of the activities their bank is involved in. I will also copy this to DHL so that they might like to think about how they have been represented.

Just because a company is registered on Alibaba and they are a Gold Supplier, this means nothing with regard to their credibility as a company.

ALSO, featuring in Global Sources does not make a company legitimate. It does however mean they are a properly registered company. As you may well know, there are MANY companies out there that do not operate honestly.

I have learned my lesson (Luckily not too expensive a lesson).

Yes certifications on websites mean nothing.

Best way is to your own investigations.  All these "gold supplier" crap means they just paid Alibaba for a title.  As you can see by the amount of  "gold supplier" scams that the certification is worthless

In China its impossible to have branded phones and electronic at cheap prices. If you see those cheap prices for Iphone, PSP, PS3, Nokia all are scammers. We have been in this mobilephone field for 11 years and those are the experience which I have gain. Factories here even if someone steal out some electronic stuffs do you think they are so stupid to sell at example Iphone 3G 16GB at 300 usd while the actual market price is 700+ usd? No free lunch in the world. If you need original brand new phones its better to get it from their authorised distributors. If you need refurbished or copy phones then China is the place.  But you need to look for the right supplier who doesnt only know how to buy and sell from the market but also need to be honest and know what quality phones they are selling to you whether the motherboard is original non repair, repaired before or copy. As many china traders are simple too naive they only know how to buy and sell or simply dont bother as 1 time business is enough for most of them already. Better to visit your supplier and check out his company reference before placing any order.

Not to mention the shipping costs, tariffs, and possible customs seizures that can be avoided with dealing locally.

I don't understand why all you people always ordering brand name phone from China, Original Brand name phone are more or less the same price with the items in your own country.

Don't keep in mind that China dealer always sell the cheap thing, everything in china are in lower price then anywhere

Example, Nokia N96 cost about US$650 in China now, Somebody offer you US$110 and you believe it and pay and get it and found it is copy things , so you claim on alibaba and say somebody steal your money!

You get what you pay for. okay! don't always say chinese are cheater.
