Hey Prakash,

It depends on what level your looking for, if your a novice in java programminig then "Java 2 The Complete Reference Fifth edition" by Herbert Schildt  and this a wonderful book for the starters. If you want to go into advance level,  Thinking in java by Bruce Eckel and there are lot of other books like java in 21 days by SAMS publications, JAVA 2 Unleased.

So the better book that i have seen is Java 2 The complete refference.
