True, true, so true.

And, the person who never made a mistake never made anything.

Replying to [Aussie]: Though I had deceided to keep a complete Mum /silence on your front which I had mentioned to you also.

But after having realized that "Sometimes we must be hurt in order to grow", I feel, I must thank to you as you made us "GROW". I don't want to be a thankless person.

I wish if others also start following words in which they believe in, to raise themselves above from their existing levels on all the fronts - accedemically, morally and spiritually.

Finally, I also thank GOD and you too, that this time you did not find anything "racists" in the above post which is your favourite subject.

Quoting from [vshanker]: Yes it is true, experience is the best teacher. With experince we learn lot of things.

It is there for every thing, some loss and some gain.

Thanks for this thought. It reminded me of a quote I like about experience:

"Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterward. And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." ~ Abraham Lincoln

Replying to [vshanker]: Really gr8, but I also recall a quote about experience.

Experience - the name given by man to his mistakes.

(It is also true that we learn from our mistakes)

Thanks Macs 2005 for your appreciation and quoting Abraham Lincoln. I am a great admirer of his personality, thoughts and philosphy of life.

[To Foow]: Thanks Foow. I am glad that you liked it.

[To Deepali]: Thanks Deepali. You are right that mistakes do help us in teaching big lessons.

Dear Sixer,

Actualy we should, if we are wise eneough. People can learn not only by their own experiences but they can also learn from the experiences of others.

Nobody can learn everthing experiencing one by one.

The question of yours should be addressed to oneself and not to others. If someone is not learning, it is his problem. We all are here in this world to improve ourselves and not others. If someone  learns by others' experiences, it is in his favour otherwise God is there to look after such people who are adament by nature.

We all Indians have grown up with the the stories of Ramayan, Mahabharat, great versus of Gita, Upnishads etc. How many of us are following the experiences/thoughts of Ram, Krishna, Pandavas, Yudhishter and how many of us are following the thoughts of Manthra - personal servant of Kakeyi(Ramayana) or Shakuni of Mahabharat. This the question to ask ourselves. This is called self-retrospection.
