so few inquiries recently.What happened?

Dear all,good morning then.

We are been an alibaba member for about 3 month now. I do received so many inquiries in th first month.

But in the recently 2 month,the inquiries is fewer and fewer.Why?

I nearly have no inquiries about half month now,maybe just got several system matched inquiries.But it is useless.

I do update my products and selling lead everyday,i do add products either.But in vain.

it is said that lots of foreigners are on holiday now,it is that right? 

So i got a little angry with alibaba now.[em6]

It could be a combination of vacations and economy. Neither of which are alibaba's fault.

I guess the answer depends upon what type of product you sell also. If it is a seasonal product then perhaps the lull is expected.

Perhaps you can concentrate on servicing your existing customers at this time and that may lead to more orders from existing customers.

So do we. Resently we get fewer and fewer inquiries too.Some of customers do have a holidays. But it does not mean all are on holiday. So what is the reasons? I fly into temper with Alibaba toooooooooo.

It is better not to expect to get client only from one media,especially in those hard days.I agree with egernia,economic slowing down and vacation should be the reason.

Ya,i agree with you. But don't you think that is strange.

Maybe i can choose one  more media.what should i do if this media is not well either.Should i think i should get more and more media then?

That will spend us so much.Especiall for a midium size company.

I just want to say,i should gain something when i paid.Or at least don't like haven't receive inquiries for half a month,that undearable.

Jesse I think that paid members such as yourself should complain to alibaba about this situation. The more complaints that they get the more likely that they are to act.

While the reasons are most likely economic and vacation, there are other factors that could also be coming into play.

Loss of confidence among buyers in the Gold Supplier and Trustpass memberships is one of those. Alibaba holds those out to suppliers as having a value worth paying for in order to get more customers. But if scammers can get the same status by paying then that undermines the whole system and devalues those.

I think competition from other websites is also a factor. Alibaba is probably the most expensive such platform right? Buyers will go where the sellers are and if sellers start abandoning alibaba due to high costs and low value then the buyers will soon follow.

You are a paying customer so exercise your right to complain!
