You should not set your expectations too high for the amount to money or riches you wish to have. One who sets their expectations too high, is almost always disappointed. Instead, you should cherish what you have, and seek to improve yourself from within, and not measure your personal worth by the size of your money.

Even if you are poor, you should still feel satisfied in your life. Satisfaction, happiness, and the meaning of your life come from within yourself and not from money or riches of the world. There are a lot of things in the world which we can't buy it with money! Do you think so?

So please try to slow down and turn around, to see your wife and child, maybe you will find the most precious thing in the world which you forgot for a long time!

    Jenny, I conmpletely agree with.

The happiness is important in our life in my opinion.

However you are rich, you may be in a poor status if you are not happy.

Then let's think about it that why we want to be rich and how we use the money?

Generally speaking,we all want to be in a better and happier life through we make the money.

A lot also depends on which stage you're

at in life. If you've been there, done that (say a 60 year old)- happiness would be more valued than riches.

If you're a struggling 20-something waiter somewhere in the world, riches would appeal more than happiness.

There are more than 7 billion people in the world today - so rest assured you will get

    a good mix of answers.

Frankly, as a struggling young daughter of my parents, the most important thing in front of me now is to earn more money but not looking for happiness.[em3]

I would think taking the middle road is the best alternative for most worries and problems!

Different people have different priorities in life. A lot also depends on which stage you're

at in life. If you've been there, done that (say a 60 year old)- happiness would be more valued than riches.

I just feel different things means different things to people. There is no right or wrong.

In today's world, both matter - money and happiness. Which one do you want more of ?

Well, that's really down to your priorities, isn't it ?

[em19] Agreed. Lots of people out there might think that happiness is more important then money. Because they already have enough money to survive their life, and they are happy about that. Try to imagine. If you are a person with a family burden and u don't even have enough money to cover up your hunger. Your baby is crying at night because u don't have the money to buy milk. Your old parents is getting sick and u don't have the money to get them treated. Which are more important? Are you happy in that state when u do not have money to do anything at all? Money is always the most important thing. U might not be able to buy happiness with money, but u could always create happiness from money. without money, there won't be any happiness. If u get what i mean, i am talking about having money and not being rich. A bit off-topic thought [em10] but that's what i wanna share.
