I made TT payment from my bank, It never did go to their account, even afetr it was corrected as the bank employee transcribed wrong number sequence switching 2 numbers. afetr that was corrected it still would not go through, this whole process started december 15. last week I had them call it back and I am still waiting as of today. this seems a bad system and is my first time using it. is this normal or rare as i intended to do this a couple times a month. please respond quickly with any information you may have, thanks, martin

Martin,
TT's are usually very easy. I use them all the time and have never had a problem.

You need to get in touch with the other party and confirm everything again to make sure nothing else is incorrect. Make sure you have the SWIFT code also

What do you mean did not go thru?  If the swift code was corect the bank would hold payment until it knew which account to put it in.  Depending on your bank associations your supplier may be holding up due to the fact the second time thru not enough was deposited in their account.  Ususally if an intermediary bank is used you must pay the fee's associated with the transfer every time it is sent.  This could be the reason or it may not.  I too have made 100's of payments via T/T without a problem.  It is definetly beneficial to be doing business with a bank that have good banking trade ties.
