Ranger, This is a very good question and so pity that few people answered to this Survey. As a matter of fact it didn't take much time to log in and click on one of the options.
In my opinion sellers just take care about what is the hottest models and new models to have more profit, and some seller really don't care what is it inside and just want to sell this phone. This is the market and buyers to guide them what they sell and regarding to market requirement, they start to import or distribute mobile phones.
But regarding to buyers standpoint, so many reasons effect on their ideas, some buyers buy the mobile phones in order to show that how much they are cool and advanced and people call them mobile phone player, because today they buy one and tomorrow change it to new one. For these people, design, expensive price and brand is very important.
But we have other users of mobile phones that take care of quality of conversation.
Average age of these users between 40 to 80 years old and they don't consider about camera, gaming system or attainability to programs.
Young users buy the mobile phone regarding to quality of MP3 or Mp4, Camera and games (specially 3D games), they all the time playing with their phone and all the time bluetooth is on and they are sending the pictures, video or games to each other. So also they can expend enough money to buy the advanced and new phones and start to playing with it.
But we have some advanced user of smart phones or Iphones, they take care a lot about the details of the mobile phone specially CPU or ROM, they would like their mobile phone would be able to access to the Internet via WIFI and have this capability to update to new version, They would like to change their phone programs regarding to their own desire, so probably they will go on Symbian or MAC OS or Windows 6.1
Also to be girl or boy is important, Girls show more feeling to buy the flip or slide mobile phones and they really take care about the camera.
sorry I wrote too much, maybe it's not a good answer to your good survey, but anyway I don't reading like newspaper and pass from it. So hereby I shared my idea to you.
