1cbm for only 35 USD to Sweden?
Post 1 of 7

Hi, my supplier for goji products informed me that the shipping cost for 1cbm is 35 USD, is that only the shipment charge for the space slot? will i have more to pay by then? What other charges should i consider. I am sure when it gets here there are charges.

Could anyone summarize the charges of fees from China, as well as the basic fees when it arrives to the destination country.

Thanks very much!

it is FOB price for the goods plus the shipping cost of 58 USD sorry not 35 USD but 58. and they said nothing more, all i need to have is the Bill of Lading and thats it. All i need to know is for the safety of the goods to be in the ship. I think they will handle all the cost for this. is it likely?

the quotation by CBM, I think it should be shipping by sea.

supplier site: be sure your supplier quote by FOB price, so that would incharge all local charge and also including B/L charge and document charge.

Buyer site: Usually there should be the destination port cost, such like custom clearance, documents, housing, etc, there is rather a list of the cost at your end.

you should confirm with supplier what they have included in the price.

If your cbm is small, I suggest you to ship by air,  by door to door, or by courier, as they may included the port cost by door to door or courier. and finally work out the cost is similar than by sea, but much faster.

Thank you for your reply. I think with the 58 dollars shipping for 1cbm is cheap enough. I think my supplier handles all ground cost since we only pay for the inspection fee, shipping fee and the product fee. No other charges.

It is only 100 kilos of goods. Do you think it would be cheaper with airfreight? that means we can save the shipping cost and the inspection cost, but wondered that airfreight for 100 kilos would be more expensive.???

Hello,

Which port you use in Europe, to deconsolidate the parcel? Hamburg?

I just asking because you can be badly surprised, with the port handling costs, which were not included in your Chinese Friend offer.

I have got some time ago the very good rate for freight to Europe ("all in"), but finally it was not "all in", there appeare some "strange cost" :) which makes the outbound offer x2

Please inform me, what you decided, and how it goes, \

Regards

Martin
