The conversation is pleasant and smooth, but after I presented our quotation, the client do not reply me any more---- at least at present I get no reply about the quotation.
I know what it means. But I still cannot understand. Our price is as low as other competitors, if not a little lower than theirs. If I have to find a fault of myself, that is, the first quotation I gave him is about the same product in different material, which is very expensive. I used to ask him about the requirement to product quality and he told me that he wanted the best.
I am new in this industry, but I am an experienced retailer. I feel sad that I make this joke. Never neglect your own intuition. Never believe others saying without doubt. Profit is the most important thing to a businessman.
I also know that this happens to many sales, what can we do after presenting quotations?

You should not be sad or blame yourself about why the customers don't answer after you quoted the prices. You should keep contacting and ask him what about your prices, if he returned your mail or answered you in TM or MSN then you are able to connect again and ask more question from him, because in Alibaba you are not the only one that he or she talking to, after one seller send the inquiry as system match or no system match, so many people try to add him or her to their list and a lots of e-mails he will receive. Maybe already other supplier start to talking with him and attract him to by their products. If he said your products is expensive, try to describe the reason why your products in expensive and ask him to buy the sample from you if you believe in your quality and prices. Some time the e-mails you get is not from USA, UK or other countries, they come straight from China and they try to just find out the market price, So keep your hope, try posting new products in Alibaba so you will be able to receive more inquiries, maybe from 100 customers, 2 of them do business with you. The only job that should be your target to do your best and give your best service to buyers and be patient.
Keep contacting by sending new updated prices, send some picture of your products or some other way that you think can attract him again to your company. And never give up because the succeed is just in front of you.

It is a big problem. It is just bad Business Practices The best after one or two follow-up letters, offering your assistance tohelp them in their decision, to scrap them from your list. They won't buy from you, and in most cases from nobody else.
Good luck.
