You can ask your Chinese supplier to just post it to you. This will take a lot longer but does not cost too much. if you want it quickly then TNT / DHL etc. is the best way. You instruct any one of these to collect the parcel ( on your expense )

1 article will probably be even expensive to transport then 10 pcs. Therefore mayby an idea to just order some more of similar styles etc.

Anyway just think about the profits you may earn by buying a cheap article from China

Samples are always expensice - everybody know this .

I am an Irish here in China.

First, the location of the company in China is not the best. It is in the Northwest, and I'm not sure where the neareest port to there would be. In the future if you make bigger orders with the factory, do you plan to ship by sea or air?

Did you have a business relationship with this company before? or is there price much better than other factories? If not I think its wise to look for a factory with a better location in China.

I plan to set up a service company here, with my Chinese business partner. We will provide sourcing and related services for foreign customers.
