There's an old saying that - IMHO - would be really apt here:

"In God we trust, all others pay cash."

There's nothing like a straightforward T/T.

ONLY L/C............NOT T/T.................

For T/T at sight , you can receive the money once you submit the documents according to UCP600.

And for T/T after sight , you will receive the money after certain days (30d/60d/90d..) but it would give your customers more clients and gain credibility.

So , which one you prefer ? T/T at sight or T/T after sight?

certainly, most of sellers like T/T at sight, but if the seller has  massive  turn over capitity and the buyer is an importment and can coperation with long time, i think the seller can choose T/T after sight. but the time must be not  more than 90days. But i aslo think it aslo depend on the buyer's reputation

How can we know the buyer's reputation?

ok good,i agree in god we trust, but for me as importer, how you want me too pay all in advance, how you want me to trust you as a shipper before i receive the goods, you might put garbege in the container after you get the money.
