Learning Korean Overnight
LEARN to speak KOREAN - English media

There are many people who can speak one word of the foreign language, yet they brag that they can speak so many languages, that even make the native speakers blush.

Yes, I came across many of these people, if you say you are from Korea, or been to Korea, they would say "Good day" in Korean, and "Thank You", that is all about their knowledge of the language. Yet they audaciously claim their ability to teach others about their language, where they do not have the articulation to translate into the foreign language.

This guy, a Korean living in the United States is one of the most qualified person to teach the Korean language. He is well articulated in the English language, and is able to relate to you on his own experience to learn a foreign language.

MODERN TOOLS
He suggests two methods of learnings, one is the classroom setting, where you intricately learn the language by constructing the sentences with the key words. Another method, which is prevailent among Fast Pace people, or working people, who do not have the time and privilege to sit in a tutorial classroom, is to learn by POD CAST, he suggests to download into the MP3 or IPOD player and play the vocalisation or phonetics of the key words during your sleep or on the train, or while waiting for some appointment. But first you got to list 100 or 200 keywords that are most applicable to your environment. For example if you are travelling to Korea on business, you need the words like: Contract, Payment Terms, Letter of Intent and so on. In other words he advise the new learner to be selective. I like his method of teaching, and want to share it with the audience here.

This is the best Korean language learning program I have seen so far.

The tutorials themselves are experience linguists trainers, and they show by example. They walk the talk, and demonstrate their agile handling of both the learner's and the objective languages.

The most important aspect is to be able to transfer knowledge to the students, this is the gauge of good tutorials and the means to do it can be varied and customised to the needs of the everyday life activity of the busy executives who wants to get hold of the foreign language quickly and effectively.

The program is from a native Korean speaker who has learned some foreign languages of the European Region. he has designed a new method called "sleep learning", applied for himself and finds it very effective.

So if you are going to a foreign country for some business trips, always remember to apply this principle, to learn only the highly used words which is about 100 to 200 and download them into your MP3 player, along with your native tongue. Listen to them every time you find the opportunity and during your sleep, and you will master the language in a shorter time than the conventional method; happy learning.
