i am about to start a small part time buisness importing loose gemstones.the best suppliers so far seem to be thailand (chantharburi market area) any info/buying tips re this area would be much appreciated i may combine a holiday/buisness trip to the area as this seems to be the only way to get first hand insight into as not to get scammed/ripped off. i have managed to save a few grand for this venture and wouldnt like to see it disappear at a few strokes on the computer? all tips/info will be greatly appreciated re; this new venture/suppliers

Be very very careful when you buy from Thailand. Specially when it comes to Sapphires, Rubies, Amethysts & Citrines. These 4 stones are replicated in such a way that they would be natural but have very very low value because of special treatments.


Honestly try ebay if you are doing it first time.
